First edition 2018. Never reprinted. With this scarf, Édouard Baribeaud pays homage to William Shakespeare and his famous play "A Midsummer Night's Dream." A baroque comedy, written towards the end of the 16th century, it features fairies, elves, lovers, and an actor transformed into a donkey in a magical forest clearing on Midsummer's Eve. With the addition of a modern projector and a moon reminiscent of Méliès 's, all in a style evoking the Indian miniatures so fashionable at the time, Édouard Baribeaud also pays tribute to early 20th-century cinema. The palette is navy blue, orange, pink, and green with contrasting turquoise swag. Very rare and highly sought after by collectors. Mint condition, in its box.

Dimensions: approximately 90cm x 90cm (36" x 36") - Composition label present - 100% silk - Hand-rolled edges - Made in France - Authentic pre-owned Hermès scarf
