Created by Françoise de la Perrière, the Hermès Early America scarf was released in 1981 and has never been reissued, making it a rare and sought-after piece for collectors.
This model is the special edition, featuring Martha and George Washington at its center – an even more precious variation of this design inspired by American folk art, paper cutting. Another version of Early America , published in 1976 and subsequently reissued, also exists.
