Hermès Scarf 90 cm – Fleurs et Raisins – Christiane Vauzelles (1981)

VENDU

Issued one single time in 1981, the "Fleurs et Raisins" scarf (Flowers and Grapes) has never been reissued since. Signed by the great Christiane Vauzelles (creator of the legendary "Zodiaque"), this design is an ode to abundance and to French classicism.

The distinctive feature of this piece lies in its ground: a superb Saffron Yellow, a warm, sunny colour right on the border between golden yellow and orange. On this luminous ground, blue porcelain cornucopias pour out a cascade of roses, tiger lilies and bunches of grapes. A joyful scarf that perfectly embodies the baroque style of the 1980s.

A word from Diane
I have a soft spot for this colour combination: this Saffron Yellow is much subtler and easier to wear than the classic bright orange. Paired with this royal blue, it creates a very elegant warm/cool contrast. It is the ideal scarf to brighten any outfit without "washing out" the complexion.

Note: Authenticated vintage piece. The photos are an integral part of the description; we invite you to zoom in on them to appreciate the details and the condition of this treasure.
