First edition 1974. Reissued in 1981 and regularly since. One of the most famous scarves by Philippe Ledoux, the other legendary designer of the Maison Hermès alongside Hugo Grygkar. Inspired by an engraving kept at the Château de Malmaison, this scarf shows at its centre the phaeton of the Aiglon, the son of Napoleon I. This horse-drawn carriage takes its name from the son of Helios, the personification of the sun in Greek mythology. Palette: sugared-almond pink, baby pink, lemon, brown. Good overall condition, with stains, marks and signs of wear.
